Texarkana, Arkansas Ward 5 Director Danny Jewell announced last week that he will seek reelection to the Texarkana, Arkansas Board of Directors, aiming to continue representing residents in one of the city’s largest and most diverse wards.
Jewell, who has served on the Board since his initial election, said he intends to build on ongoing neighborhood improvements, infrastructure priorities, and community engagement efforts. His announcement comes as the city prepares for the upcoming municipal election cycle, where several Board seats will be on the ballot.
The Ward 5 position covers a broad portion of the city’s residential and commercial areas, making it a key voice in shaping Texarkana’s future growth and development.
