Texas A&M rallied past undefeated Nebraska 3-2 in the Lincoln Regional final, winning sets one and two 25-22 before the Huskers fought back to take set three 25-20 and a wild set four 37-35. The Aggies sealed it in the fifth 15-13, led by Stowers’ 25 kills and Lednicky’s 24 kills plus the match-ending block, hitting .275 with 30 blocks total. Nebraska’s Harper Murray had 25 kills, but the loss ended their perfect 33-0 season at home. Coach Jamie Morrison’s rebuilt squad now heads to Kansas City as underdogs facing Pittsburgh.

History made!

Texas A&M volleyball punched its ticket to the Final Four for the first time in program history with a thrilling 25-22, 25-22, 20-25, 35-37, 15-13 win over top-seeded and previously unbeaten Nebraska before a sellout crowd of 8,650 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

In a match for the ages, the Aggies (27-4) came out on top in a match that featured 34 ties–22 in a wild fourth set–to hand the Huskers (33-1) their first loss of the season and their first home postseason loss in over a decade.

Leading the way for A&M was Kyndal Stowers’ 25-kill performance. Logan Lednicky pounded 24 kills to go along with six blocks.

A&M will face Pitt in the national semifinals on Thursday evening inside Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center.
